This spool grip is used for
tensile testing of very small samples, such as wire, fiber and thread. The
sample is threaded around a spool and held in place by a spring. Locking
grooves are provided on the spool to assist in locating the sample.
Applications:
Ideal for miniature and
hard-to-handle items such as fine wire, fibers and thread.
